Job Cigarettes advert recreation by Chris Thomas.  16X20 inches.  Acrylic and marker on canvas. Based on another early 1900's advertisement. This time for Job Cigarettes.

Darker than the previous piece, yet stylistically similar. Here is the perfect femme fatale. Secretive and seductive.  She gives us the illusion that cigarette smoking is elegance personified for ladies of this by-gone era). Quite a tantalizing piece of art!

• Grew up in Ottawa, Ontario
• Chris attends Carleton University where he is working on his B.A. in film studies with minor in history
• Has beer drawing and painting as a hobby for many years
• Enjoys art, film (especially comedy), and literature.
